GetInfoPro allows you to change several attributes of files that you can't normally do in the Finder. Some of these attributes are: Type, Creator, Invisibility, NameLocked and HasCustomIcon.
Not only do you get extra file attributes that you can edit, but also more information! Such as the InUse and the File Length in several different formats.
The most useful feature in GetInfoPro would have to be the preset options. This changes the selected file's type and creator to match that of a specific program.
An example where this would prove most useful is when you have a JPEG file, but you don't want it to keep opening up in Photoshop - because it takes so long for it to open.
After chosing the file in GetInfoPro, you would select the name of the program you wanted the JPEG to open in under the presets list and click save! The next time you double click the file it will open in the program you just specified.
